Install Shoutcast v2 Radio Server In CWP – CWP module

Today I’m introducing the shoutcast 2 module for CWP, here you can manage you radio stations with latest version of shoutcast installed. Since this module is requested by many of our users and here you go I’m making this module public, enjoy DJs.

SHOUTcast is an server that allows you to host you own Radio station and play music from anywhere. Essentially it works like a personal Internet Radio. You can do a lot of things with this.

With a SHOUTcast Radio Station you can do a lot like

• Hosting your own radio/talk show
• playing music 24 / 7
• playing dj music trance
• Work from home 😛 i.e. play dj from anywhere.
• and many more

Installation Steps :

cd /usr/local/
rm -rf cwp_shoutcast2*
wget --no-cache https://blog.alphagnu.com/upload/cwp_shoutcast2.zip
unzip cwp_shoutcast2.zip
cd cwp_shoutcast2
sh install.sh

Now navigate to GUI:
CWPadmin >> left menu – ShoutCast 2

Here you will see this page (click here to enlarged image):

it have start, stop, delete function with individual admin panel link where you can manage additional settings for shoutcast per port.

How to uninstall, run this command :

sh /usr/local/cwp_shoutcast2/uninstall.sh
